    Thanks for the kind words about my mom from yesterday SusieQ. You’d have loved mom. I don’t care how old you get, your mom is still your mom. Mine was truly Golden! Sure do miss that ol’ bird. I did find the set of China that belonged to my Great Aunt still packed up in a big box at moms house. I had thought at first that it was among the things that was stolen, but my sister found it in moms ‘craft’ room, in the corner. Glad to see they missed that.

    Your welcome, gatorpaw! Nice to have all those wonder memories! :-) Be careful with that china. The older stuff can be worth some bucks also. I picked up a box of china ware years ago at a Thrift Store. A service for twelve. I needed one small serving plate to complete the set and it was over fifteen dollars for just one small plate. You can replace most online if you do a little homework. Makes you almost afraid to eat off them. LOL! Nawwwww, I use them during the holidays and special occasions. LOL! And remember, everything happens for a reason. Maybe it all happened so that you finally got there to get the treasures your finding! How awesome! ( Your finds and memories I mean) Good sometimes comes from the bad in spite of it all! Thanks for sharing! :-)

    I’ve tried several times to get the Burt’s Bees Acne offer. No matter which acne box I check, it says I don’t qualify!!

    You’re right SusieQ, I think it took something like this to get me moving when it comes to finally getting things moved out of her house. It has needed to get done for quite some time now. There is always a silver lining to every dark cloud, if we only look for it.
